There are several opportunities to be involved in supporting satsang by Volunteering
with the Heart of Being Foundation.
Help set- up at a meeting or an event
All Meetings in Truth with Brian Qara are set up and broken down with the help
of volunteers. Help is always needed and your participation is very much welcomed.
This usually involves arriving an hour and a half before satsang begins and
staying 30min to an hour after. Set-up and break-down are simple. If you are
unable to lift things don’t worry, you can help by greeting people at
the welcoming table or by working at the bookstore after a meeting.
Distributing Flyers
One of the main ways in which people are informed about Meetings in Truth is
through the hanging up of flyers. If you are interested in posting flyers in
your area let us know. You may be interested in putting up a few flyers in your
area or you may wish to commit to covering a certain route, either way even
if you are only able to hang up one flyer this is still helpful.
Volunteer at the Office
The office is located in Brentwood, California. As the office is coming together
there are several ways Volunteers can help. (many of the computer jobs can be
done at your home wherever you may live.)
Some things you can help with are:
- administrative duties
- transcribing meetings and archiving
- video and audio editing
- audio and video duplication
- setting up logistics and materials for an event
- help in creating, display ads, flyers, brochures, and other materials
- PR and Advertising
- coordinate a special event, a new program, or a fund raising campaign
- computer entry and website maintenance
You are invited to participate in whatever time allowance fits your schedule
on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, or volunteer occasionally. Any skills
you have can be put to great use, as we move into fund raising and special events.

Volunteer from your Home
There are many ways you can volunteer from your home, regardless of where you
live.
- Transcribe a live satsang recording. (A CD will be mailed to you.)
- Translate an excerpt from a satsang with Brian Qara
- Archive meetings
- Web site visibility on search engines and links on other sites
- Public Relations
- Fund raising
- Website maintenance

BECOME A PUBLIC ACCESS TELEVISION HOST
Information on the public access television
Every cable company are required to dedicate at least one public access channel
to showing programs generated by local citizens. The Public access program at
the Heart of Being Foundation is currently being developed by Bill Costello. This
is a beautiful way to shre the gift of satsang. Soon Meetings in Truth with
Brian Qara will be on television in cities in Southern California, Detroit MI,
Asheville, NC, and New York City.
